Our Mission
Our mission is to make the literature and history of the ancient world, as well as the creative expressions of today, easily accessible to all.
Our Story
Contubernales Books was founded by Garrett Dome and Zachary Sowerby. Their first publication, Fabulae Divales, reimagined and brought to life the fairy tales of Arcadius Avellanus for a new generation of Latin students. Since then, Contubernales has strived to not only produce quality Latin texts but also to amplify the voices of authors inspired by the classics.
